Privacy Policy — Weighted

Weighted (“the app”) is a strength-training logger for streetlifting. This policy explains what data the app handles and how your data stays private to you.
Your training data
Your data is private to you. Your training data (workouts, sets, exercises, bodyweight entries, personal records, templates, and profile details such as your weight and height) is stored on your device using on-device storage (SQLite) and synced securely to your own private account, so you do not lose it if you reinstall or change your phone. It is stored by Supabase, our backend provider, on its servers, protected by per-user access controls so that only you can read or write your data. We never sell or share your training data, and it is never used for marketing, advertising or tracking. Supabase processes it under Supabase’s Privacy Policy. Your profile photo is part of your account and is stored with it; images you attach to your own exercises are not uploaded and stay on your device (see Photos below).
Your account
Weighted requires an account so you can sign in and keep your access across reinstalls. When you sign up we collect your email address and a username; if you use Sign in with Apple, we receive the email or private relay address Apple provides. This account information is stored by Supabase, our authentication provider, on its servers, and is used only to sign you in and identify your account — not for marketing, advertising or tracking. Supabase processes it under Supabase’s Privacy Policy. You can request deletion of your account by emailing us (see Contact below).
Photos
The app accesses your photo library only when you choose to pick an image, and only the image you pick.
Your profile photo is uploaded to your account so that it follows you to a new phone. It is held in Supabase Storage in a folder tied to your user ID, and only you can change or remove it. The address of that file is not guessable, but it is reachable by anyone who has it, so treat your profile photo as something you have published rather than something private. Deleting your account deletes the photo along with it.
Images you attach to your own exercises are different: they stay on your device and are never uploaded.
Subscriptions
Weighted offers an auto-renewable subscription. Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store — we never see or store your payment details. To manage your subscription and restore Pro across reinstalls, the app uses RevenueCat, a subscription-management service. RevenueCat receives an app user ID and your purchase and transaction information for this app; it does not receive your training data. RevenueCat processes this under RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy, and Apple handles billing under Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Analytics & tracking
Weighted collects a small amount of anonymous usage data so we can see how the app is used and where people get stuck. This is limited to six specific events: completing onboarding, starting a trial, completing a workout, viewing the subscription screen, tapping subscribe, and completing a purchase. Each event carries only the app version, the platform, and simple non-personal details such as how many sets a completed workout had or which plan was tapped.
These events are sent to PostHog, a product-analytics service, on its European servers. The app does not use an analytics SDK and does not do autocapture, so nothing is collected beyond the events listed above. Events are tied to a random identifier generated on your device, not to your account, your email or your name. Your training data, bodyweight, personal records and photos are never sent to PostHog. We do not show advertising and we do not track you across other apps or websites. PostHog processes this under PostHog’s Privacy Policy.
Data deletion
You are in full control of your data. You can clear your training history from Profile → Settings → Clear training history. To permanently delete your account and all associated data, both on your device and on our servers, use Profile → Settings → Account → Delete account in the app. Deleting the app removes its on-device data.
Children
Weighted is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date above and post the new version at this URL.
